Description of the P29 wreck

P29 was bought by Malta from Germany in 1997 and has been used as a patrol boat since then. She was decommissioned and scuttled as an artificial reef 10 years later, in 2007 when the wreck was cleaned and windows were removed, same as most of the other wrecks in Malta. Together with the Um El Faroud wreck, P29 is now one of the most popular wrecks in Malta. There is also another wreck in Cirkewwa, that lies close to P29 – Tugboat Rozi.
