Octopus vulgaris canvas print
Octopus vulgaris or common octopus
A closeup, profile photo of an octopus vulgaris – most common octopus species that any diver can encounter in Maltese waters. A photo shows all the details in the eyes and the head. Interesting fact is that while octopus vision is limited to about 2.5 meters, they have no blind spot. Both eyes act like panoramic cameras allowing octopus to see full 360 degrees around. This is bad news for us, scuba divers, as octopus can and will easily spot us approaching despite the care we take.
Slow approach, no dangling equipment and no unnecessary sound. These are the 3 main aspects and techniques of not scaring an octopus vulgaris. Use them wisely and an octopus might actually hug in return 🙂 Some hungry species just love the look of a fisheye lens on your underwater camera and would gently try to touch it, creating a unique opportunity for a good photo.
Canvas print/wall art details
Wondering how your shiny canvas print will feel like? Will the underwater wall art fit your home or home office style? We’ve got your covered:
The canvas prints are made from FSC certified wood which ensuring a long-lasting and high-quality product.
The canvas (or as it is sometimes called – slim canvas) has an approximately 2cm / 0.8″ thick wood stretcher bar. We use coated fabric, which is a blend of cotton and polyester for the canvas substrate. This provides a weight of approximately 300-350gsm/110-130lb and a thickness of 350-400 microns giving you a sturdy and durable product.
Hanging kit is of course included as well!
All canvas prints are shipped in protective packaging and strong boxes, so your new wall art will arrive safe and strong.
No matter where in the world are you, there is likely a production center either in your country, or very close to the country you’re in. Currently there are production centers in 20 countries, including EU (most of the EU countries so there’s no import duty/taxes on any EU orders), Americas (United states, Canada and Brazil), Africa (South Africa), Asia (India) and Australia.
This means that it is very likely that your underwater wall art order will be shipped to you as soon as possible and the shipping price would definitely not break a bank.
