Common octopus is without any doubt the most frequent octopus species one can expect to meet underwater in Malta. The best time to search for any kind of octopuses is October/November. Opting for a night dive for even more chances to spot one since most octopuses are nocturnal creatures.
The octopuses are gorgeous creatures. They have 3 hearts and are considered world’s most intelligent invertebrates. They are also masters of camouflage and not only change their color based on the surroundings, but can also change their texture to match the environment. All this leaves small chances to spot one out there in the wild for a naked eye. Look out for any small, tiny movements in between the rocks or in rocky outcrops. This is where these guys usually hang out.
Common octopus is a well know and studied species, and scientists and marine biologists used to believe that octopuses are colorblind, meaning they can only see in grayscale. Another interesting fact: octopus vision is limited to about 2.5 meters. However his both eyes act like panoramic cameras allowing octopus to see full 360 degrees around.

We use coated fabric, which is a blend of cotton and polyester for the canvas substrate. This provides a weight of approximately 300-350gsm/110-130lb and a thickness of 350-400 microns giving you a sturdy and durable product.

No matter where in the world are you, there is likely a production center either in your country, or very close to the country you’re in. Currently there are production centers in 20 countries, including EU (most of the EU countries so there’s no import duty/taxes on any EU orders), Americas (United states, Canada and Brazil), Africa (South Africa), Asia (India) and Australia.
